Abandonné au bout de 4h30. "played 3 chapters so far, it's a little disappointing. I love rhythm games, as someone who S ranked through Thumper and speedrun Crypt of the Necrodancer, but the rhythm elements in hifi are simply not good. bpm is still the same, it's still on a monotonous 4/4 time and I'm afraid it will stay that way until the credits roll. Enemies are slow to respond, we are not on the same page, I can dodge quickly and they have no answer to me doing that, which trivializes the encounters. And then there's the filler in-between the rhythm arenas which are already too few and apart, the long empty corridors, the verbose chit-chat, the grating guitarist filling the space like it's a concert and the lead singer just went on a weird rant about how you shouldn't use your phone and enjoy the moment, and that guitarist is just strumming the same chords 25 times in a row, it's *uuuuuh* yeah (also the songs/bands overall could use a little diversity but since it's tied to a 4/4 skeleton and rock spirit, I guess it doesn't make much room for something else). At that point the only thing keeping me playing is the meta commentary raising out of the overworked/exploited robots in the factory which incidentally or not make for a nice mirror with the studio situation irl. Were they aware of their fate and weaved that into the game somehow? Is that life imitating art? maybe there's something here worth exploring for a future text"
